
The Young Lawyers Association of Nepal (YLAN) successfully conducted a panel discussion on 20 September 2025 on the theme “From Gen Z Revolution to Restoration: Redefining Legal Practice.” The session featured eminent panelists, including Dr. Bijay Prasad Mishra, President of the Nepal Bar Association; Senior Advocate Kedar Prasad Koirala, General Secretary of the Nepal Bar Association; Mr. Bimal Poudel, Registrar of the Supreme Court; Advocate Saroj Krishna Ghimire; and Advocate Apurva Khatiwada, and was moderated by Advocate Deepak Raj Joshi, Vice President of YLAN.
The discussion focused on Nepal’s evolving democratic and legal landscape, highlighting the need for institutional reforms, restoration of public trust, and redefining the role of legal professionals in response to the momentum of the Gen Z Revolution. The event provided an interactive platform for voices from the judiciary, legal practice, and academia to share insights and practical ideas on building a more accountable, inclusive, and responsive justice system.
