Organizational Structure

The Association operates under an Executive Committee elected by its members. The structure typically includes:

 Role & Responsibilities
Executive Committee 
President  Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the Association.Preside over all general meetings, executive committee meetings, and special sessions.Represent YLAN at national and international forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.Oversee the implementation of programs, projects, and policies.Ensure coordination among executive members and committees.Act as the chief spokesperson of the Association.  
Vice-President(s)Assist the President in all duties and represent them in their absence.Supervise specific portfolios or committees as assigned by the Executive Committee.Facilitate provincial or regional outreach programs.Strengthen relationships with members and partner organizations.Oversee assigned projects and ensure timely execution.  
General SecretaryManage the day-to-day administrative affairs of the Association.Call meetings upon the direction of the President and prepare meeting agendas.Maintain accurate minutes of all meetings and official records.Coordinate with committees and members for smooth functioning.Prepare and submit annual reports to the Executive Committee and General Assembly.Handle correspondence, notices, and internal communication.  
TreasurerManage the financial affairs of the Association.Maintain accurate financial records, bank accounts, and receipts.Prepare annual budgets and financial statements.Ensure transparency and accountability in financial transactions.Oversee fundraising activities and grant management.  
Executive Members  Participate actively in decision-making processes of the Association.Lead specific projects, committees, or events as assigned.Represent the Association in various forums and public events.Maintain close contact with members in their region or sector.Provide feedback and recommendations to improve Association activities.  
NON-EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Executive Members (representing various provinces and practice areas) Act as the Association’s representative in their respective province or region. Coordinate and organize local-level programs, trainings, and awareness campaigns. Report on provincial activities to the Executive Committee. Facilitate membership growth in the region.
